Jonas Gruska
Jonas Gruska is a Slovak digital artist / post musician studying at Sonology in Den Haag. Focused mainly on sound-art, web interactive poetry & programming as an artistic tool.
Born with computer on his desk, Jonas Gruska was always interested in programming and artistic possibilities of technologies. Watching the internet evolution from small communities to big web2.0 services. And as many artists, seeing the real effect, which this virtual world has, he knew how important will be, to understand the language of computers and internet. At least part of it.
But, Gruska is also trying to escape the problem of technological artists, which is the short border between presenting the technology and presenting the artistic work, by creating and implementing concepts to the web, not the other way around.
